Web 2.0 goes “offline”?

One of the main disadvantages of having web-based applications is unavailability of information when you go offline. Could this be what’s been missing?

[update] The guys that created everybody’s favorite to-do list have done their job quite quickly and now Remember The Milk has also an “offline mode”.
